Newt Gingrich; Protector of Traditional Marriage
It looks like Newt has a chance to beat Mitt Romney. Newt Gingrich, former House Speaker who led Congressional Republicans back during the Clinton Administration, has surged in the polls due to former Governor Mitt Romney having a difficult time explaining why he has a problem showing voters his tax record.
So now the party of Christian values can have someone who is a defender of traditional marriage. Newt Gingrich has clearly spoken out against same-sex marriage by saying“I think we are drifting towards a terrible muddle which I think is going to be very, very difficult and painful to work our way out of, I believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. I think that’s what marriage ought to be and I would like to find ways to defend that view as legitimately and effectively as possible.”

Yes, the man who married three times and whose second wife, Marianne Gingrich claimed that he wanted to have an “open marriage” believes that he should find ways to defend traditional marriage against those immoral gay people marrying each other.
I should also mention that Newt allegedly asked his second wife to agree to an open marriage while he was busy prosecuting President Clinton for his lying about an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
I think he would be the perfect candidate to debate Barack Obama when it comes to character, because he’s such a high upstanding example of Christian values. Barack Obama has had only one marriage and there’s no sign of him wanting anything else, so surely Newt Gingrich can dictate to him and the rest of us of what good Christian values are all about.
I do hope he wins the nomination; the party of God and Money deserves no one better.

Yes, what would we do if we didn’t have his upstanding moral character to stand up for good Christian values. I’m glad you see the sarcasm in my words. I wonder if conservatives will see that or will they actually think I’m complimenting the man.
But he also wants to set up a permanent base on the moon!
